Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a thin magnetic-core device required when it is surface-mounted on a wiring board by providing the following: a laminated magnetic core which is manufactured by laminating magnetic-substance sheets; and an insulating film which is arranged so as to cover the surface of the laminated magnetic core and in which a conductor for coil use is formed on the surface not coming into contact with the surface of the laminated magnetic core. CONSTITUTION: The following are provided: a laminated magnetic core 1 which is manufactured by laminating magnetic-substance sheets 4; and insulating films 2, 3 which are arranged so as to cover at least one part of the laminated magnetic core 1 and in which conductors 9A, 9B, 10A, 10B for coil use are formed on the surface not coming into contact with the surface of the laminated magnetic core 1. For example, said laminated magnetic core 1 is formed by laminating many amorphous magnetic-alloy thin sheets 4 or the like forming a guadrangular frame shape. The following are used as said insulating films 2, 3: a first insulating film 2 with which one side face of the laminated magnetic core 1 is covered and in which conductors 9A, 10A are formed on the outer surface; and a second insulating film 3 with which the other side face of the laminated magnetic core 1 is covered and in which conductors 9B, 10B are formed on the outer surface. The conductors formed on the individual insulating films 2, 3 are connected electrically to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
